Thoughts on "sustainability" in the production of shirts

Clothing production in itself isn't sustainable. We probably all know that. But what is "sustainability" even?

No matter the interpretation of "sustainability", Caroline Designs strives to make our production, our materials, packaging etc. as sustainable as we can. Mostly we want to contribute to advancing and even changing our thinking and our actions in relation to buying clothes.

I want to focus on the fact that we must only go for good, strong and environmentally friendly qualities as well as timeless, classic designs, so that we get a wardrobe that can last for many seasons and years to come.

We must make more demands on the companies we buy clothes from, and we must be better at steering clear of short-term trends, which result in the purchase of clothes we only wear a few times, and better at ensuring that the quality is the best.

All this I try to accommodate with Caroline Designs. At Caroline Designs you will thus find a timeless concept, simple designs and durable materials (including organic cotton and recycled polyamide).
